Chomsky on Israel & Lebanon

As usual, Noam Chomsky puts things into an historical perspective.

He contends that Hezbollah was attacked because of the support they provide to the Palestinians. He also reminds us what the conflicts in the middle east are really all about, and debunks the "we (Israel) attacked them because they kidnapped two of our soldiers, so it was justified" obfuscation swallowed by the media (but unraveling every moment).

Here is another of his articles, from 1996, on virtually the exact same thing.

And another from 1993.

-not to say he's redundant, but that Israel is.
